We offer peaceful holidays for families since 2004
The Delicious Houses complex was built about 20 years ago according to the rules of architecture of Pelion. The front houses have balconies with beautiful views and the back houses have many windows that partially overlook the sea and the courtyard of the property. In 2021 there was a small renovation and upgrading of the houses and we made sure to keep the traditional style that honors the local architecture.

Village with a natural harbour & unique beach
At 2 km after Agios Giannis, Damouchari is a particularly picturesque settlement, with a lot of commercial traffic in the past, as it was the only natural port of Eastern Pelion.
In fact, it consists of two small coves separated by a headland on which are still the ruins of a medieval castle, as well as the monastery of Agios Nikolaos. The northern cove is still today a harbor, where colorful fishing boats and pleasure boats are, while in the southern cove you will enjoy your dives and swimming in a beautiful beach with large white pebbles.
Among the olive trees that surround the settlement there are old and new picturesque houses, cafe and few taverns for food. In Damouchari the car reaches the end of the road and then you follow a narrow alley or path to reach the village. The beauty of this settlement is wild, especially the southern cove, from which a stone old path starts. Τhis path offers you an incredible view of the eastern coast of Pelion, passes over the beach of Fakistra and reaches Tsagarada.
Mamma Mia! Movie 2007
Dancing Queen scene filming
The film version of the worldwide successful musical "Mamma Mia" was partially filmed in the small port of Damouchari, in September 2007.
It was a great experience for all the locals who participated as extras in the film and experienced Hollywood moments up close, being part of such a big production. According to the script, Damouchari is the port of the island where the story is supposed to take place. It is the place where Meryl Streep welcomes her two old friends, who are coming for her daughter's wedding. In addition, Damouchari is the main setting for the choreography of "Dancing Queen".
Filming in Damouchari lasted 3 days and around 300 people worked together during those days. It was really impressive to see all those people perfectly coordinated. All filming took place in the harbor (where they also set up a wooden marina) and around the large abandoned building located in the natural harbor.
